It was bound to happen...

Sad, but true... Today I finally succumbed to a pop-up ad. I didn't actually buy anything, of course, but the ad was entertaining enough to make me pay a visit to it's home-site.
I guess that it says something about me how easily I am amused, but in honor of Brannon, I typed in "Would you like me to be your sausage wallet?" and the result (in several languages and accents) made me giggle like a school girl. Click here if you'd like to know what I'm talking about.

To answer your question on my blog... sadly, no I have not finished the book. In fact, I have read very little with the beginning of a new school year for me, and now "two" kids in school.

It was funny... I liked French.

you've got to make time to read it Elaine! You totally are a Stark... both you and Erin. And, in fact, Brannon is how I've pictured Ned Stark ever since I started the series oh so many years ago.

Elaine is the slowest reader I have ever seen. I don't know how she has the patience. She also has near perfect comprehension -So theres a big payoff. I'm a very impatient reader and have terrible comprehension.

By admitting you clicked on a pop-up you have also outed yourself as one of the few remaining IE users. Firefox has pop-up blocking built in.
Shame on you.

By comprehension, B meant recall... he is still thinking about the grade school definition they drilled into him as a young boy.

As for the Stark thing... well, I don't like the finishing last thing. I don't finish last, nor will I. And you just watch... I'll get a fucking dragon. You'll see.

revisit your last comment upon finishing Game of Thrones... I'd be interested to see what you'll have to say.

I have been wondering how long it would take you to tell me to wait until I read it to make my final decision. Yes, I was wondering what I would think after I had read the book. I am sure you are right.
